[ Wednesday, November 14, 2007] Hamptons Party-“Masquerade Ball ”

When it's your birthday and you want to celebrate it with a bang, you can either make plans to go to the theater and dine at one of the finest restaurants in NYC…or you can be invited to the Hampton's party.

We actually got several invitations to celebrate Devon's birthday, and we wish we could have accepted and made them all, but unlike other nights when it's strictly business, this was Devon's big day and he wanted to simply stay in one place and decided to visit the much talked about Long Island hide-away.

The Hampton's party has been around for several years and like many other parties, survived because of their loyal following and themed events. November 10 th was one of these nights. “The Masquerade Ball”.

On the extreme end of Long Island, the drive surprisingly was not bad at all. Our GPS lead us right to the front door where we found Gary standing outside in the freezing cold greeting his guests.   With his dark suit and mask, and ear piece on-he looked more like security than the party host at first glance. He greeted us by name, which impressed us-as he opened the door into his house of mystery. As per request we brought our own spirits and handed it to the lovely bartender who occasionally came from behind the bar to ask if we need a refill. Gary and Evgeniya created a welcoming atmosphere. The main floor housed guests who danced to the evening's resident DJ. The large living room and spacious kitchen served as rendezvous point for those who indulged in cocktails and the decadent and eclectic mixture of the catered menu. An outdoor deck with heaters served as the ‘smoking' area for many. It is evident that Gary and Evegeniya paid close attention to detail to insure that each guest was comfortable and accommodated. The outdoors party area was even complete with a Jacuzzi, which we weren't daring enough to jump into in the 34-degree temperatures.

This on-premise party was filled with some very elegant people who stuck to the theme with their lovely gowns, tuxedos, suits, and masks. We had the pleasure of crossing paths with SLS's aasexycouple & us2onlongisland as well as Mofo's IanDanaShow to name a few~ and these couples knew exactly how to keep the party going. Somehow we knew that the dancing on the main floor would end early. And just like clock work it did. We were given a little tour that included a trip down stairs where we were introduced to the reason why people came to begin with- an erotic wonderland. Ascending downstairs and into one of the rooms, we were curiously followed by a few couples who wasted no time adding themselves as eye candy to the sexy ambiance. Soon, the room got crowded and there were bodies everywhere. There were other rooms. But this was the room.

The party paused to give Devon a birthday serenade. Unbelievable, in the middle of all the festivities- that everyone stopped to sing “Happy Birthday”. Truly a thoughtful gesture. A chocolate mousse cake was then presented by Ashley and Andre, friends of HedoOnline.com. Another testament to the great and intricate details interlaced into this event.

The DJ was good, but admittedly, the music was not a factor here. This was a party where mature and sexy people came to spend a night with others in a “guess who” extravaganza for some down right naughty fun. Although we did not attend the Hampton's Party to do a review-we just had to let those here on the east coast know what great hosts Gary and Evgeniya are, and that their parties should certainly be part of your lifestyle experience. Classy, Sassy, and elegant demure, out in the Hamptons. We give this party a 5 out of 5. With a special emphasis on style. Thank you Gary and Evgeniya for your vision and great hospitality.
