When you've made the decision to participate in the lifestyle, whether it is to attend erotic parties, vacations, or simply join an online community, your privacy should be the single most concern of the proprietors of these businesses. So why does it seem that many of the lifestyles' best continue to employ a cavalier attitude when it comes to allowing their guests to what amounts to a press pass at their events?

We at HedoOnline.com are always vigilant when it comes to guests being a little too free with the digital cameras, and we bring it to the attention of many. No, we're not spies, but we do value one's privacy including ours at any and all events. We do realize that the majority of people snapping photos are people who are familiar with one another and most are comfortable with posing and showing off their erotic party experiences. What we are concerned with are the unsuspecting posers who find their likeness for all to see on various adult social sites without their permission. Let us be fair though, most the incidences are totally innocent in nature-with no evil intent by the amateur paparazzi. Senario: you and your female partner are dancing and another female joins you. Seems innocent enough, right? But what you didn't notice is her boyfriend/husband snapping away from a short distance and you have no idea who he is and how many photos he has taken of you-or if he or she shares you privacy concerns. What can you do, you ask? First, never be afraid to make it very clear that you don't want your picture taken. Being apprehensive will only leave you feeling violated. Secondly, when you do discover that you have been photographed, simply and kindly ask that they delete the photos in front of you.   But what happens when you find your face on another person's profile whether it's in their private pics or public pics? Take the same approach. If they are friends of yours you can always call, email, or tell them the next time you see them to remove the snap shots of you. If it's someone you're NOT familiar with, you should contact the site owners and have them ask the member to remove it. In any case, it is your responsibility to protect yourself at all times.

Most promoters allow picture taking at their events because they want to demonstrate to prospective partygoers that their events are fun and exciting…. and it works. Just as these features help lend a little more insight into the lifestyle experience. It is though, the responsibility of promoters to help ensure everyone's safety and privacy by being aware and aggressive in responding to their customers concerns. Being in the lifestyle is a wonderful experience that many enjoy and we should all respect one another's discretion. They say one picture is worth a thousand words, but words won't offer up a reasonable explanation if those pictures happen to fall into the wrong hands. Be Safe, Be well. Be You.
